Ranbir Kapoor plays ‘Ranjha’ in Nargis Fakhri’s life

Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly approached producer Sajid Nadiawala with the proposal of casting Nargis Fakhri in his upcoming film Heer Ranjha. What our lover boy doesn’t seem to know is that Nargis has signed the three-film contract with Shri Ashtavinayak Cinevision
Ranbir Kapoor will play the lead along with debutante Nagris Fakhri in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Rockstar. Eros International along with Shri Ashtavinayak Cinevision will co-produce the film. Rumors about Ranbir and Nargis have been doing its daily rounds since the film went on floors in 2010. There were numerous reports of Katrina Kaif calling off the relationship with Ranbir because of the alleged link-up.

Newcomer Nargis Fakhri

The half Czech half Pakistan American model caught the attention of shutterbugs (and probably also of Ranbir Kapoor) the moment she entered Bollywood. If sources are to be believed, Heer Ranjha director Sabir Khan liked Nargis’s pictures and finds her suitable for the female lead. Nargis’s talent is yet to be showcased, but if she is indeed brimming with finesse, Ashtavinayak will clearly not break their contract and lose their fine discovery.
It’s yet to be seen whether Nargis is signed as ‘Heer’ in Heer Ranjha but clearly from the chemistry between Ranbir and Nargis, there seems to be a real life ‘Heer Ranjha‘ in the making!
