Shahrukh Khan to give thunderous start to IPL!

He believes in entertaining the masses. Shahrukh Khan will be in Chennai to perform at the opening ceremony of the IPL (Indian Premier League). After the World Cup, is India all set for another round of cricket!

The cricket extravaganza IPL kickstarts tomorrow with the first match between Chennai Superkings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Shahrukh’s performance is going to be the biggest attraction of the event. N Srinivasan of Team Chennai, while talking to a noted daily, confirms the news about Shahrukh’s gig at the inaugural ceremony.

As per sources, King Khan has been practicing for the event and will dance to some of his smashing hits, and we won’t be surprised if he also promotes his latest film Ra.One, the promotions of which started with the World Cup. It seems Shahrukh has also recuperated from his toe-woes. Recently he hurt his toe while shooting for Don 2 and because of the injury he even had to miss the final match between India and Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium last Saturday.

Nevertheless, King Khan is excited about IPL as his team with new members and new captain Gautam Gambhir will be playing the first match of the season.
